I have traditionally used bulky and expensive hole saw kits for many years. I was intrigued by the idea and bought it. The drill works perfectly in soft and hard wood. The holes are clean and precise, easy to set up and use, compact for storage, and most importantly, you can drill any size hole within the drill's reach, not just a half dozen or so. from the hole saw set.
