I use it to switch between my work MacBook and my personal Windows desktop on two 4K monitors. Switching is very fast for the most part, and I haven't had any issues with peripherals not picking up. This KVM doesn't have display emulation, so a computer that isn't currently switched to will pretend it doesn't have a monitor attached. On my Windows machine, this causes all windows to appear on the same monitor after switching back to the machine. It takes a little longer to turn on a Mac, but it can fairly consistently place all windows where they should be on the right monitor. While I'd like to blame KVM for not having emulation, it's obvious that there is a software solution that Windows just doesn't use, so I can't blame KVM entirely. While I wish the price was a little lower I just couldn't find another KVM that switches two 4k 60 monitors for this price range so I won't complain. If you're looking for something that supports 4k dual toggling and don't mind that Windows can't remember which monitor your windows were on, then this is your answer.
