Almost all have comparable technology. What separates the good from the bad is the quality of customer support.

The wiring process was problematic at best. After connecting to only half of the connected devices, service ranged from mediocre to poor or non-existent. Other devices could not be connected because each attempt resulted in an error. When I tried to connect to the NetGear site, although I was able to connect to any other site, I was never able to connect. When I called support, I waited 20 minutes and spoke to a representative who was only interested in a warranty update. Information. Please note that it was purchased 6 months ago but has been unplugged for more than 4 months due to medical reasons. Your records of when the connection was originally made confirm this. Then I was handed over to the manager because the agent had technical problems. I do not think so. The manager tells me that phone support ends after 90 days and then tries to sell me a $149.99 customer support package. I will not repeat my answer. Then I was told I could get a one-time support package for $49.99. $49.99 to fix an issue with a new device that originally cost only $120. I have asked them to uninstall and reinstall all previous software associated with this device. They wouldn't have if I hadn't spent $49.99. I will try to solve the problem myself through the support groups, which will most likely take many hours. Otherwise I will buy another device before giving them the $49. I've also been buying NetGear products and getting good support for more years than I care to mention. Those times are clearly over. Like my days when I bought one of their products.
