You must know how to use a jackhammer properly or you will be looking at it on yourself and not the tool. One word, great. For concrete 1" to 5" thick I've seen 6" but that was a bit of extra work. Now this tool has arrived in perfect condition, no leaks, no dirt, no damage to the outer box. Now think about the time of transportation. The movement causes damage to the box from all this movement, the tool was actually brand new. I bought the recommended 40w oil and it worked as expected. The job involved a 9x9 pad that was 5 inches thick and I smoked it out in about 3 hours as the thicker areas were visible up to 8 inches. I can only say that I only got my rental money by buying here. To the sellers I want to thank you not only for saving me some money but also for trusting your manufacturer. I used a Makita jackhammer and it works with the same power as those sold for $800. It just works, so don't think about it, just buy it. Please look at my photos and see for yourself how great it cuts by 5 inches as shown on the tape measure. Please note that this cushion was made only from old concrete without reinforcement.
