Review on Unleash Fun with Chompin Charlie Game Squirrel: 24 Piece Excitement! by Sfl Richardson

cute and funny useful for puzzles

An excellent addition to the autumn basket. There are always plenty of squirrel and acorn books to add to the fall lineup and this game suits them well. It's a great addition to those books and we all enjoyed it. The game also has a little puzzle that makes the squirrel/acorn trick even more fun. To play the game, players take turns rolling the dice. The color/number displayed indicates which color and how many (up to 2) acorns you have put in Charlie's mouth. Once he's full, the acorns will dig holes in the trunk of the tree Charlie is standing on. Using only one hand, players race to collect acorns. The first person to complete their Acorn Stash card wins. The rules state that if a player discards acorns of a certain color and they are not in the main supply of acorns, that player must take one of their collected acorns or take one from another player. Taking over from another player is not suitable for all families, but can be adjusted if desired. Plus, with acorns everywhere, it's hard to find a better place to play. Acorns will roll off the table, but if they're on the floor they can roll under things like sofas if the space is smaller. Our house is small so we try to build little "walls" to keep acorns from rolling under things. In general, the game is interesting and the quality is good. This is a simple game that's a great way to add some joy to your day.
