This is a great alternative to the original part at five or six times the price. I honestly haven't noticed any difference, except that the skin isn't as thick. But excellent ebony color and texture match. The part has a technical flaw: there are two protrusions that need to fit into the two holes in the hinge to help align the four mounting screw holes. The tabs are too close together to fit in the standard hinge holes. You'll have to remove at least one of these if not both, but they don't serve the essential function that I see once the screws are tightened. Another note: the four screw holes on the hinge bracket are pilot holes only and are much smaller than the supplied screws (as well as the OEM screws which are slightly larger than the ones supplied). Before installing, thread a screw about halfway into each hole and then remove - this prepares the hole and is much easier to install with the cover on the hinge.
