Review on πŸ”§ Durable and Versatile: DEWALT DWFP12569 2 N 1 Flooring Tool for All Your Flooring Needs by Sam Lund

Durable and lighter than others.

Just received outside a small room (175 sq ft) where 2 1/2 inch thick precast oak planks will be installed. After several years of renting, I finally decided to buy. Squares, but in the last 2 years I've been making more large squares. Always wanted but couldn't justify spending $450-600 on something I only get to use a few times a year. And I can rent for about $35 a day. It's not about being cheap, I spend good money on quality tools and their repair and maintenance. It is always an investment in my business that brings me money. I like the fact that this is a double clamp tool. or nails (clips). I also like that it's a bit lighter than most steel I've used. This one is made entirely of aluminum. Also, I LOVE the fact that I don't have to hold the "trigger" like One Bostitch did on loan. It requires 16ga. Boots (pack says 15.5 ga) but my 16 worked fine. Keep the pressure relatively low, I was fine around 80-85psi, just hit hard. Comes with 3 depth plates, 3/4", 5/8", 1/2", 4 allen wrenches, oil and a hammer. Can't comment on the strength and durability yet. It's made in Taiwan...but For yearly use I think it should be fine with occasional maintenance This product was only launched in January 2013 Time will tell I can't wait to build a wooden porch using T&G decking.
