Review on 🔧 Wix 57712 Spin-On Lube Filter: High-Quality Performance for Optimal Lubrication by Joe Duncan

I've always loved the Wix filter and will continue to use it on my 13 year old WRX. I've used Rotella 5W-40 all year round in New England weather with no problems! I also highly recommend their air filter (49012 for the 11-14 WRX) while you're at it, as the filter is cheap I would only change it every 5000 miles if not every oil change if you're ambitious. . Because the oil filter faces down after removing the fender, you don't need a filter wrench if you have a smaller hand, but I used a capped filter wrench for easy installation anyway. Just remember to lubricate the threads/seals as usual prior to installation.
