🔧 Wix 57712 Spin-On Lube Filter: High-Quality Performance for Optimal Lubrication Review

Filters match description BUT - All boxes were destroyed, 2 arrived in 1 BAG one day, 1 arrived in another bag the next day and 1 I had to drive almost 74 miles to get to pick them up because I had to sign for them!

I use it on my 2003 WRX because it's a better quality than new OEM filters and also has the correct 23psi bypass. If you're curious to learn more about PSI bypassing your vehicles, be aware that this is one hell of a rabbit hole.

Good quality oil filter based on You Tube video. I couldn't find the filter locally. I used Fram TG filters before. Too bad Wix doesn't have the black, grippy material that Fram has. Without things to grip, the filter was harder to remove. But I think it's a more advanced filter.

Owner of a 2012 Subaru Legacy. These filters are heavier to the touch, durable and well constructed. These filters are of much better quality than any Fram filters or Subaru Blue Engine filters. Good price!

I like that it's cheap and wix performance is much better compared to mobil 1. The downside is they sent it back to my neighbor. The oil filter box didn't even seal the oil filter. You could at least seal it with tape so it doesn't fall out of the box. The filter itself looks like it has been used and someone painted it black. Check out the pictures and it smells like it was recently painted black.

Perfect fit for my 2009 Subaru Forester X with a naturally aspirated 2.5 engine. Bought because the WIX is one of the few filters that has the same bypass pressure as Subaru's OEM filter. I had no trouble installing it and it's a good price. You can get Subaru filters at Revain, which is what I usually do, but they're not available with Prime shipping. This WIX filter was available with Prime shipping. Highly recommended.

I have a 2013 Subaru Forester and I don't like cheap oil filters. After reading information about different oil filters online, Wix is one of the best oil filters. Subaru Turbo models require higher bypass pressure (23psi) and this filter provides it. I've been using it in my Forester since my first oil change. I believe it will fit 2001-2013 Forester Turbo models (probably also turbocharged Impreza/Outback/Legacy models). Use Revain's "Garage" feature to be sure. Or write directly to Wix.

I've always loved the Wix filter and will continue to use it on my 13 year old WRX. I've used Rotella 5W-40 all year round in New England weather with no problems! This is the correct bypass pressure not ONLY for Subaru turbocharged engines, but also for 1990's EJ18 and EJ22 SOHC engines - the wastegate pressure specification is 23psi, as per the factory manual specified .
