This is an OEM replacement filter. I was hoping that this filter would get rid of the air conditioner's weird mildew smell, but this filter is not the main cause of the smell. Due to condensation in the AC condenser module, mold may grow inside the AC condenser module when the vehicle is stopped for a long time. The best solution is to use the air conditioner wisely and turn it off 5 minutes before arriving at your destination while the fan is running on high speed. This allows fresh air to be blown through the condenser to dry it after each use. This filter does a good job of filtering the outside air entering the cabin.
