All surfaces properly cleaned as recommended (and then some) but the center 'hard' part didn't stick to the 'shell' of the door handle . The day after applying I simply removed the middle "hard" part and left the blue reflective strips in place. It's been going well for two weeks. The "hard" part (the black middle part) just wasn't bent enough, even at 80 degrees, to fully adhere to the surface of the "cup". They flattened out again overnight. It will be easy to use clear car tape to paint the surface. The rest of the reflective strips look nice and make the buttons more visible at all times (so I can find my RAV4 in a sea of other RAV4s in the parking lot).
