Review on BESIGN BK01 Handsfree Bluetooth Car Kit with Noise Isolator for Music Streaming and Calls via 3.5mm Aux Port by Justin Spoja

First of all I didn't get it for free like some others. I paid the full €24.99. I didn't want to work with FM transmitters as I didn't want to deal with FM tuning and noise, hiss etc and also because I have an extra charger in my armrest. If you don't have an extra input, you can't use this thing. Recently bought a used 2010 Subaru Outback without BT. But in the armrest it had an aux and charger. I looked at many other models that are cheaper and more expensive. Bought because one of the recurring complaints about many BT car kits in Revain and Youtube reviews is the noise coming from the car engine and the need for a ground loop isolator. I looked at the loop isolators separately and they are around $5-$7. Assuming that I would have the same problem as many others, I chose this article that had the most value than the combination that also had BT version 4.1. I just wanted to suggest that 4.1 works better when 2 phones are connected to the device at the same time. I won't give a detailed explanation of the installation as it's fairly easy, but here are a few notes from last weekend: 1- Connects easily to 2 phones and transfers calls from both and turns off the music when one phone allows the other Ring phone via BT. I needed it as I have a work phone and a private 2 call quality is good. Hassled my wife who swears she can hear me perfectly on my many test calls. It was clear with both one and two connected phones. 3- The quality of the music is EXCELLENT. My 2010 Outback has no engine noise even when the music stops. 4. There have been some complaints about other devices not having an on/off switch. Press and hold the phone icon and this thing will turn off, then press and hold again to turn it on. 5- All 12V sockets in my car are turned off when the car is turned off. When I get into my car for the first time, turn on the ignition and wait for the engine light to go off, the phone connects automatically. But further switching on the ignition to start the car turns off the Bluetooth unit. I was afraid that every time I got in the car I would have to unplug the charger and plug it back in to restart. No need. Just press the blue phone icon on your device and it will turn on and pair. Basically, this means that every time I drive, I have to turn the device on, but I don't have to take it off the charger. 6. My Moto X has a "Hey Google" speakerphone option that I have enabled. Now I can tell the car to take me to the nearest dairy farm. This works without a long press on the FW button which also activates this feature (Siri for iPhones I think) but sometimes it doesn't work without a press and sometimes it doesn't work at all. I think it's more because my phone is old than a feature of the device. 7- All FF and RW keys etc work fine. 8- We also skyped with my parents and there are no complaints there either. 9- Fairly long cables. After the aux and charger ends end in a Y-joint on the cable, the aux end (although there may be a charger end) is even longer. I attached a magnet to the dashboard just above my knee and more than half of the cables in the armrest are unused. Be careful with some devices with very short cables. Also, a car BT device is a pretty simple thing but with an important function, at least for me. I do long business trips and sometimes I'm on the road for 10-15 hours and I need all of that for work. It looks like it will do the job. It's only been 2-3 days so I don't know if this thing will last long. Just take a look. Will update when I'm fed up.
