Works when used correctly.

When converting/restoring the exterior, all steps must be carried out. Those pads aren't the only thing you need. Make sure you have a clay block, clay lubricant, polish, compound and wax. I had some oxidation last year that I couldn't remove by hand alone. Used them on the first try and boom. The included pad cleaner is also good for all your car towels.
