The Speedframe MIPS is a good helmet, looks good, is relatively comfortable despite minimal padding and has great ventilation. Even on day trips I've never had any problems. It's also available in a range of body sizes - as opposed to 'universal' sizes like the GIRO Fixture - which means it looks appropriate on smaller heads too. One star less for the following reasons: 1. Expensive. At this price you can buy an entry-level full-face motocross helmet. The inner labels are not waterproof and will peel off over time3. The FOX side decals are fragile, we have 3 speedframes at home, all fairly fresh, and 2 have decal damage in the same place (see photo).
