The material appears to be very strong and is quilted to protect the KitchenAid mixer. I like that there is a zippered pocket on one side and an open pocket on the other. I'm a big fan of accessory bags/storage to keep them all together. The lid fits the blender very well, no need to force it on or try to put it on. The lid doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the blender (about 1/2 inch), but I like it. This allows for some airflow if the blender is a bit damp or if liquid is spilled on the countertop it doesn't seep into the lid. The price is great and the color is perfect for my taste.
