No recess for the screw head so doesn't lay flat when installed and closed

These are decent quality in terms of their sturdiness. But there's no recess for the screw to sit into the hinge so when closed, the hinge leaves don't lay flat/flush on each other. The tops of the screws butt against each other on either leaf so the hinge doesn't lay completely closed. For what I'm doing, that's a big deal. I need the recess for the screw head.I guess if you don't need them to lay completely flat when closed, they're ok.

I got nuts and washers NOT hinges now I have to order another pair of hinges with screws
