This unit was used in our bathroom for a few days prior to review. That works great! Our bathroom (at 50% humidity) dried completely within an hour. The design is elegant, but there are also very functional aspects, such as the fan's "barrel" shape, which keeps the noise level to a minimum. Something like the effect of low-speed, low-pitched low-pitched white noise. The high-speed setting really moves the air! The air comes out at the top, but actually more to one side, which is fine or even better if you're drying a hanger or similar, as you don't have to position the unit directly under the item you're drying. Dry. There is a direct connection on the back of the unit if you wish to drain the collected water through the hose provided, or simply close the connection and it will be collected in a container.
