The first time I wore my low cut western boots (booties) I got blisters. The second time I wore the boots with these blister pads I didn't have any pain or get blisters. I cleaned the area with alcohol prior to applying the pads and they did not move at all during a summer outdoor concert. As seen in the photo the boots really do dig into the back of my heel, which is why some of the color of the boot transferred onto the pad. Happy with this purchase.
