Review on Nokian Tires Nordman 7 205/55 R16 94T winter by Ewa Wolska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

Happy afternoon! I'd like to post a review for the tire Hakkapeliitta 7, which is currently known as Nordman 7. As soon as I purchased a vehicle in November 2022, a KIA RIO, I fitted it. On three wheels, there are essentially no studs left after six seasons of use (one wheel has 95% of its studs left), after five seasons, each stud lost an average of 20%, and during four seasons, none were lost at all (each year, 1-2 studs per wheel). My brother had a second and fourth generation phone that I really enjoyed, so I decided to go with Nokia. You know that you shouldn't drive an automatic vehicle with a gearbox too aggressively in the winter. My Nokian 7 never let me down; it never required a shovel in deep snow because it behaves like an all-wheel drive. It also never skidded off ice even in strong winds. As confidently as in the summer, asphalt can withstand freezing weather (down to zero degrees), but temperatures above zero already call for caution (slow reaction to braking at speeds above 60 km/h). The tread on my father-in-law's car's wheels is still nearly new, and because there is nothing for him to do on the village road, the main activity being navigating snowdrifts, I tossed them off yesterday. For the new season, I had to choose between Nordman 7 and Hakkapeliitta 8, but since I can afford the more expensive (premium) segment, I went with Hakkapeliitta 8 (185/65R15 in Wheels, which cost nothing each). However, I believe Nordman 7 would be a great, tried-and-true option that did not let down Nirazu, but as they say, you need to choose based on your resources and capabilities))). In my opinion, Nokian/Nordman outperformed all rivals in terms of snow flotation and ice stability. Conclusion: For Nokian or Nordman, select an affordable option that has been checked.

Pros
  • Snowy and icy terrain may be handled clearly, and dry and wet roads both perform well.
Cons
  • Unless these are flaws, of course))). After six operating seasons, three out of four wheels had nearly no studs remaining, after five, each wheel had lost an average of 20% of its studs (with the exception of one), and after four, there had been virtually no stud loss (per year, 1-2 studs per wheel).
