I ordered these for my husband's Ford Escape. They fit perfectly and went in seconds. They were the same shape and size as the Stock Jacks and moved in exactly the same way. It took about a minute to remove the old supports and install these. They come with no instructions, but you simply remove the old ones using a flathead screwdriver to pry the little tab/strip at the end of the old supports, after which they pop off immediately. They simply snap into place without tools. You will need a second person or a broom to hold the tailgate open while you remove the old supports and install the new ones. Even if only one support on your car is defective, you should replace both at the same time.
