Review on Monoprice 18 AWG 4 Conductor CMP-Rated Speaker Wire - 100ft UL Plenum Rated, Pure Bare Copper with Color Coded Conductors (Nimbus Series) by Christopher Lott

I'll add a little later Seems to be a solid wire. Using about 20 feet as the winch control wire on my trailer, I converted the standard 3-pin plastic connector to a round 4-pin metal connector (this also gives me a dedicated ground for the lighted switch in the controller). The overall OD of this product is too small for the connectors I use, but that's not the product's fault. I haven't used it on speaker wire yet, but after years of using standard two-wire speaker wire I think it will be a great upgrade to my wiring layout if I find the time to use it for its intended purpose. I haven't seen the California standard cable. Product warning but I assumed it was and made sure to wash my hands after touching it. It could be hidden under all the wire, or I just couldn't see it on the spool since I wasn't looking for it, better safe than sorry.
