This is a great product. All Ethernet cables are not created equal. I used an old cable that I had had for many years. I called my cable provider to chew them up because I didn't have the correct upload or download speeds they promised. I play a lot and keep losing signal. Very frustrating when playing online. After my ISP told me everything was working on their end. Decided to look for a new cable. I had no idea what to take. So we went for the latest and most relevant technologies of the day. So Cat 8 cables should be better than Cat 7, 6 or 5. I'm so happy. My download speed went from a stable 1.3Mbps to 9.3/10.1. And my download speed went from 250 Mbps to 335/386 (I pay for 400 Mbps) depending on the time of day. But most importantly, NO breaks. I haven't lost a signal since I replaced it. that is a lot
