I bought this as the best complement to my old Kwikset Tustin Lever Knobs. This is Kwikset's best match, but the grip is clearly not up to the quality of the old 2002 models. Now the handles aren't as massive and the lever is less wide, although visually they match very well. I like the new option to use a square or rounded square locking plate. The rounded door matched my old one perfectly so I didn't have to modify the door. Lever knobs are now secured with Allen screws as opposed to the old screwdriver knobs. So if you are replacing a doorknob on a French door there will be a noticeable difference from older models. In general, the handle looks really cheap compared to the old ones.
