Image does not match product; The mirror head pictured looks like stainless steel but is different from the one supplied. I should have read the full description. The description states very precisely that the head is made of plastic. The mirror wasn't stable at highway speeds so I tightened the mounting nut. The mirror head bracket broke when I tightened the nut. The mirror head is now damaged to the point of being unusable and must be discarded. Spend a little more money (not much more) and a brand that's all stainless steel.
