The clip itself is very convenient and durable. I bought one of the portable pocket hole jigs and when using regular clamps the jigs tended to move when drilling which led to this purchase as it has a round style for the jigsaw. It definitely holds this bait very well. While you can use it for other purposes, I wouldn't recommend it over other clips of this size for everyday use. The neck width has to be adjusted manually, which can be cumbersome for fast jobs. Once the cutout is properly adjusted, it works very well and holds tighter than my other brackets (which admittedly cost less). The only reason it gets a 4/5 is that the neck adjuster is bulkier than it probably should be.
