I love Lion yarn! Heartland is the perfect choice for knitting gifts - hats, scarves, mittens and so on. I think it would be great for an Afghan as well. It is hard-wearing, silky soft, inexpensive and easy to care for. In this case, I was disappointed with the color. In the photo I was expecting a light red heather, but in fact the color is very light pink.
