I love silicone shorts, they are very easy to care for.

I have been very impressed with my Luyata stainless steel mixing bowls. They have a wonderful silicone base that helps keep the bowls in place when blending by hand or with an electric mixer. The lids fit perfectly and are tight. As a bonus you get a whisk, 3 spatulas, a spoon and a manual cheese grater.
