I was happy to see this all metal construction
After I disassembled the RV heater and removed all the dust, the original plastic fan self-destructed due to a crack and deeply embedded dust knocked it out of balance. I was glad to see this all metal. Very strong and runs like a champion. Since then I do not have problems anymore.
