Impressed! suitable for spare parts and accessories

I did a lot of research before deciding on the Levoit 300. This little device offers the best balance of high quality, minimalist design, relatively small size (like a bathroom wastebasket) and exceptional value (including running and acquisition costs). Acquisition costs) - very low power consumption and relatively inexpensive replacement filters). I reviewed several Levoit models including Coway, Honeywell, and BlueAir. Initially leaning towards the BlueAir 311, he settled on the 300 because of its true HEPA filter, the fact that it doesn't contain ozone ionization technology (personally I prefer zero to "a small safe amount") and its more robust form factor. (My cat would rip open the BlueAir outer fabric pre-filter in no time and there is nothing solid underneath to protect the filter). If you want the ability to tweak settings and monitor air quality changes, this smart version is definitely a step up from the standard Core 300. Connecting to Wi-Fi was smooth and easy, and so far the app has worked flawlessly for me. I like the ability to set an automatic schedule and turn the device on and off remotely. The app also gives you the option to choose whether the "Auto" function should work based on the detected air quality or the size of the room (you enter your square footage). With the Square Feet option enabled, the fan initially runs at a higher speed and then almost inaudibly falls back to the default sleep mode. At first I had doubts if the sensor was working properly because the color ring was always blue, indicating the best quality, and the number was never greater than 3. A burnt dinner one night resolved any questions I had about it. The color quickly changed from green to orange to 350+ red! Within an hour it was back to 1 with minimal lingering odor. It is important to note that while this will help against odors to some degree, it is not primarily intended for that as the filter only contains a small amount of odor neutralizing carbon. Two small improvements I'd like to see. I also bought a Levoit 400s (big brother of this unit and just as impressive) for more space and it has built in handles which are great. This is considerably smaller and lighter, but its cylindrical shape and smooth surface make it difficult to lift and move. The 400 model also shows the air quality number on the top of the device itself, while the 300 model just shows colored rings. You can see the actual number in the app, but it would be nice to have it on the device right away. In general, this is excellent quality. If you are looking for an efficient and quiet air purifier in a small space on a budget, this is for you.
