Whew, this thing works and the results are disgusting.

I ordered a pet cleaner and filter. The filter was ordered back so we went to the air purifier 2 weeks early. When the pet filter arrived I replaced the original filter with a more expensive pet filter. Although it only worked for two weeks, the original filter that was sucked out of the air was substantial and disgusting and our place is kept VERY clean. We've made it to reduce allergies and while I can't comment on how effective it is compared to medication and other relief measures, I can…

Doesn't really reduce odors or allergens

After 3 weeks I could not see any improvement in smell or air quality. I like it in a 2 bedroom apartment and use it in my living room. I have a dog and a few other pets, as well as people downstairs who smoke so many different substances that they can get in through the vents and under the front door. I bought first aid for it. I even bought a pet filter for better dander and pet odor control. The smells haven't abated, and in fact there's a brand new, slightly pungent smell coming from the…

This summer they have become even more valuable to me.

I have two of these air filters. The first one I bought for the cabin I live in I heat with wood. When I fill up, there is sometimes so much smoke in the air that I just wanted to filter it out. But now I live and work in the worst air I have ever seen in Lake Tahoe or anywhere else. On August 16th and 21st the AQI was above 500 here and in August we had many days in the 200+ and around 300+ range. As a result, my first Levoit filter went to the office, and the second stayed at home. The…

Fixed filter system EDITED 5/31/21

So we've been using the Levoit Pet air filter system for almost half a year and overall we find it useful. dealing with dust and allergens in the air. Everyone in our family suffers from some kind of allergy - be it dust, dander or pollen - and we feel like our breathing time has gotten easier since we installed the filter. The original filter lasted about 5 months and I usually prefer to buy replacement filters from other manufacturers. However, for our first major transition, we went with the

Impressed! suitable for spare parts and accessories

I did a lot of research before deciding on the Levoit 300. This little device offers the best balance of high quality, minimalist design, relatively small size (like a bathroom wastebasket) and exceptional value (including running and acquisition costs). Acquisition costs) - very low power consumption and relatively inexpensive replacement filters). I reviewed several Levoit models including Coway, Honeywell, and BlueAir. Initially leaning towards the BlueAir 311, he settled on the 300 because…

Bought 300s and Blueair 411 car, left Levoit 300s.

I couldn't decide between 300s and Blueair 411 Auto so I bought both. In the end I decided on the 300s. Appearance: blueair Although a personal preference, blueair easily wins for me in this area. I like the Blueair's taller, thinner design when I want to put it there* (0.7 inch thinner). Also, the 411's cloth filter covers fit my decor better. Levoit is a huge piece of plastic and looks like it. The display above is slick, but I turn it off most of the time. Filter: Undecided, maybe with a…
