When I received them I immediately liked them. They looked good and the stretch felt right, but she was home. When I got to the boat I realized I probably should have bought 2 foot bungee dock lines instead of 4 foot. I ended up tying a knot at both ends of the elastic and it fit exactly where I wanted and still looked good. They've been up and running for a few weeks now and weathered a small summer storm in Georgia. Let's see how well they hold up until the end of the summer but for now I really like them. Another good thing is that when loading your gear into the boat while docked, you don't get that sudden pull when the dock line runs out.
