Some people said it was weak - maybe until you stick it on the wall. I attached it to the wall and the circle on the bottom of the Xbox lined up exactly with the bottom of the bracket and attached it. The chassis has a slight bend to allow the Xbox baseplate to slide inward until indexed. After installing it I gave it a little wobble test and it stayed there. The mount was well packaged with hard cardboard corners to protect the device from damage and twisting. If you're on the fence like I was - buy it. This is a nice mount that works both horizontally and vertically and you can place the Xbox in many positions within the mount (top to bottom left to right).
