Review on 🔫 Efficient Coating with Astro 4538 Economy Air Undercoat Gun by Peris Auditore

I've had this dirt gun for about a week now, I've done 3 cars and 1 ATV with it and it works great. I prefer Fluid Film Primer and this gun sprays it well. As mentioned in other reviews, I have found that it works best when sprayed at around 80psi or so without thinning the liquid film. The gun comes with two suction tubes, one longer and one shorter. It would have been nice if it came with a longer "barrel" to get into those tight spots, but at this price point I can't complain. I tried pinching the hose on the barrel to get to these spots but found that it was filled with liquid and then the gun squirted out of the vent at the top of the tank. I'll probably experiment with this some more, but that's probably also due to the viscosity of the liquid film, since it's very thick. As far as pods/bottles go, this pistol doesn't include one, but again, at this price point, it's overkill. to be expected. I had a couple of Zep chemical spray bottles lying around and I think the Home Depot brand bottles are the same so they should match. I think most wide mouth chemical spray bottles will do. Overall I'm happy with this purchase, it gets the job done and the tool is well built for only $15. I would buy it again and look forward to continuing to use this pistol.
