Mat seems really well constructed, I could use one maybe 2-3 inches longer next time. The one off-putting think is as soon as I opened it the mat smells horrible. I thought it just needed to air out and began to use it after a quick rinse but it made all of my dishes smell. I washed it with dish soap and a sponge and that helped a little but if you go near it you can still smell it. I am hoping over time that goes away and is not the smell of the actual material it is made of because if so it is going in the trash.UPDATE: After a few weeks I came to the conclusion of so many others, that the smell of this mat just isn't going away no matter what I do. So changing my rating to 1 star because I cannot give this useless mat zero stars. In the trash it went as it was not worth wasting my time to send it back.
