High quality, works great.

The chimney I bought it for has 8" x 16" clay chimneys. It was quite dirty see photos. The foot consists of plastic rods with metal ends that snap into place with an index pin. They seem strong enough for their intended use and I would expect them to be able to clean dozens or hundreds of chimneys with ease. The rods are rigid enough to turn the head reliably and flexible enough to bend into the chimney. The drill was reliable. The head is made from a few tines of a thick grass whip, flexible enough to bend into the shape of a smaller chimney. In fact, I recommend buying a larger one and simply trimming the tines if the chimney size requires it. They are quite flexible and although they were too big for my application, they worked great without overloading the drill or making control difficult. I think a larger size is better here as a smaller head might want to bounce, especially if you have multiple poles. I recommend doing this work from above if possible. I did this because my customer also needed a chimney cap gasket. Make sure the chimney opening is sealed very well, use several pieces of plastic, each taped, to ensure the seal is as tight as possible. It's hard to overstate this point, fly ash is very fine and will spread throughout the house if possible. If you have to do it from below I would recommend building a plastic tent to work with. This is a quality item (as is) and not a cheap single use product. It should serve me for the foreseeable future. I just rinsed it off with a hose and let it dry in the sun. Cleaning was super easy.
