Review on π³ Windows Medical Insurance and ID Card Scanner with Scan-ID LITE by Walter Day
Small, compact. I'm still investigating if this will work for my application.
I thought this product could scan both sides of a driver's license and an SS card and send the image to my desktop as a PDF or other file. I didn't understand how/or if it is capable of this feature. I don't have the software that hospitals/pharmacies use so maybe I was hoping this would work for my smaller projects that don't have advanced software to integrate this device. If I know how to upload a double sided image to file/desktop I will reevaluate this product. But the scanner seems very small, compact and easy to set up on a computer.
