I've been working on my own vehicles for 34 years and battery, alternator and starter motor problems are driving you crazy. Especially if you let the auto parts store test it. If you don't know anything about cars and don't want to get dirty, you can have your car tested with their tester. They even provide dough for free. In many cases this will fix you, especially if you have an old ol' battery that needs to be replaced under warranty. Well, if you're still under warranty, these tests will probably just confuse you, as they test for "OK" and again leave you stuck somewhere. Get AAA membership too, just do it. You don't want to call friends/family or accept help from that rascal, or worse, some know everything that will fry the computers in your cars. That's great. I depend on it. Right out of the box it showed me that my battery was BAD in the condition it was in and was just under two years old. He also tested deep cycle batteries for my boats and RV's AND some of the AGM batteries used in my computer's UPS backup power supplies. PLUS he checked my alternator, starter and voltage ripple (AC voltage goes back to the battery where you only need DC voltage. Bad for your battery). If you don't know anything about cars this is NOT for you, take it to the store, pay a little more and use the money you would have spent on it. If you're replacing the battery, alternator, or starter yourself, you'll need this. This is a simple version of what they will use in store.
