I bought this over a year ago and have used it quite a few times since purchasing. The material on the inside is soft, the touch tape is strong and I love that I don't have to take down or move my ponytail to wear it. I find as it defrosts, you have to adjust the touch tape tighter but that's expected. I have not used it heated, I get migraines and I also get overheated easily due to a medication I'm on so the cold is where its at for me. The ice pack does not stay soft and pliable when frozen, which is a bummer because sometimes it freezes lumpy and its a bit uncomfortable when you first put it on. As it warms up, it becomes more pliable, but you can't really wait for it to defrost a little to make it more pliable and comfortable because it just doesn't seem to stay cold for very long. Like another reviewer, I would definitely consider investing in a 2nd or 3rd to have on rotation. This is a decent head ice pack, especially for the price, but sadly I'm still on the hunt for something that stays just a bit softer when frozen.
