I got these to replace the rubber tire valve stems I previously installed in my gas tanks. It seemed like a good idea, but the petrol continued to corrode and destroy the rubber and crack the stem. 1/2" valve stem hole. The hole for these openings should be smaller - the papilla. I used another piece of plastic to cover the hole which is now too big and poured over the liquid sealant. It hasn't been possible yet going to fill the jars they seem fine I will update after I fill them and see if my shim fix works item looks good it is durable there shouldn't be a problem if You start from scratch and use the right drill.
