So easy to install. It took about 30 minutes in total. I ended up routing the cable down and out of one of the rubber grommets next to the driver's side taillight. Here is a picture for size reference. There is no need to invent a carpet to lay it. Simply remove the side panels and then disconnect the cable connections. The instructions say the taillights need to be removed, but actually it's not necessary. I just put my hand behind the panel again and unplugged it. Note: The longest part of the cable goes to the passenger side and the shorter part to the driver's side. I tied the control box to some existing wiring in the car to prevent external corrosion. There is a small storage box on the passenger side panel that will not slide out until you remove the plastic buckle at the bottom. To remove it, simply push the center of the bracket towards the floor with a nail or a small screwdriver and then the entire assembly will pop out.
