Review on 🔐 WayJun Trunk Lid Latch: Replacement for ATS, CTS, XTS, Camaro, Malibu, Cruze, Regal, Verano, Sonic, Impala - 13501988 by Nick Palacio

I hardly ever review Revain but was particularly inspired to spend time with this piece of junk. I installed a new latch and upon inspection found that the electronic trunk release mechanism does not move when the button is pressed. The trunk was permanently locked until I climbed into the back seat and used the emergency latch to open the trunk. The part looks the same as the OEM but does not work. When you press "open" on the key fob or trunk button, the part makes a faint sound but does not release the latch that allows the trunk to be opened. What a waste. Look elsewhere, there are many other options.
