Great budget 1080P gaming monitor

UPDATE: I was able to achieve a 144Hz refresh rate between my Lenovo Ideapad 5 15 laptop and monitor using a Warrky USB-C to DisplayPort cable. I say this to everyone who has non-DisplayPort laptops. After spending many days/hours poring over many online articles and YouTube videos, I finally settled on the AOC 24G2 as my very first gaming monitor. So far this monitor has not disappointed. Setup was easy and the graphics/resolutions are amazing. I know there are some limitations in monitor visual settings and color space. I'm far from being of eSports caliber so these limitations don't affect me much. I can already say that the difference when gaming on this monitor compared to a laptop monitor is light years better and more responsive. at the bottom of the screen. I've fiddled with the buttons a lot when adjusting settings and accidentally turning the monitor off many times. Luckily, you can download the AOC G-Menu software/app to adjust the settings via the app instead of manually. - No response or confirmation from AOC when I registered my product and enrolled in the warranty program. I read a lot of reviews about people having pixel/backlight issues and needing to replace the device. Concerned about this risk if I have problems with the monitor. - It may take a little time to find your preferred settings, but this is pretty much the default for every new device. - I currently have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz compared to the desired 144Hz. This may be hardware related as my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 5 15 with AMD RYZEN 4700U) does not have a displayport and I am currently using an HDMI 1.4 connection. I'm hoping a premium HDMI cable can help solve this issue as I'm currently using the included HDMI cable. I've also read that HDMI to DisplayPort adapters can only work up to 120Hz. Just wanted to add that for consideration. Overall I love this monitor and would highly recommend it to anyone.
