A few tips to help you save. If you can't remove the O2 sensor due to overheating/rusting/corrosion/general crap. Then I recommend dropping the pipes down from the manifold and placing the O2 sensor upside down in a strong vise and turning the whole assembly upside down. It might be a little cumbersome, but it works great. If you're only using 1 sensor, it might be worth fighting it while the pipes are connected. If you are making more than one o2, lower the pipes and use the vise technique. When I struggled with O2 sensors with this tool, I could feel the stress it was putting on the steel. I would have broken or slipped off the bolt if I'd given everything I had. This tool was useful for firmly reinstalling the oxygen sensors, but I could have used a wrench to accomplish the same thing. This will likely work well for newer vehicles with less underbody corrosion.
