Review on Canon DR G1100 ImageFORMULA Production Document by Victor Houser

Our office bought this scanner after using two Epson GT-S50. Older scanners loaded from the top, about 75 documents (if you were lucky) and often got stuck. We chose this scanner because it scans forwards and backwards at 100 pages per minute, has stop-before-jam capabilities and allows you to leave 500 pages in the document feeder. I admit that we were very skeptical that this would work. We usually have uneven pages, 2-3,000 documents to scan, pages stuck together and many other obstacles. Our first scan took 10 minutes instead of the 3-4 hours it would have taken before. The machine parts are without complaint, the scans are excellent. It's very fast. You can leave it unattended. The program is easy to use. We really didn't want to spend money buying a scanner, but it was definitely worth it and saved us time and money.
