I was a bit taken aback when I opened the packaging of this SSD as to my surprise the case is mainly made of plastic. I don't think I've ever had a drive that felt this plasticky, but I think the metal is where it should be, at least I hope so. Otherwise, this SSD performs everyday tasks satisfactorily. and measured read/write speeds are close enough to this spec to not cause any issues. One of my concerns is that if I intend to use this in a high-performance environment on a daily basis, I will be concerned about heat build-up and how that will affect the build of this drive. As for me, I only use it as a scratch drive for my photo and video editing apps, any changes and I will update my review. Recommended for this price.
