I bought a 5w + 5w version of this amp to use with a 32" LCD TV and a pair of 8 ohm unpowered bookshelf speakers. It is powered by the TV's USB port. The input is connected to the headphone output of the TV. The resulting sound is much better than that from the TV's built-in speakers. I was surprised at how loud the speakers can be on this setting. Normal viewing is at about 1/4 volume, but even at full volume the sound isn't severely distorted. One star deducted for lack of EMI protection. should keep it away from sources of electromagnetic interference. or use a shielded box for the project. I rated it as "easy to install" due to the standard 3.5mm stereo jack and screw terminals for power and speakers. Visit the company's website.
