Worked fine on the car.
As an electrician, this screwdriver has good insulation. It's very light, which tells me it's mostly plastic, which makes the tool very well insulated. I've personally worked with this on my machine and it worked very well but it got very dirty in a hurry so if it bothers you I'd stay away. I'm not sure I would trust this to work on 1000V lines, but I'm sure it can be used with a standard 120V power supply without any problems. I also really like the interchangeable tips. Most other tools like this are much more cumbersome.
