Review on Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Standard Zoom Lens: Perfect for Canon DSLR Cameras by Bali Bali ᠌
The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.
A good lens, but miracles do not happen. In extreme positions, I do not advise shooting. Sometimes it misses by 18 mm if you want to shoot a person against the backdrop of an architectural object. A bit dark, so I don’t advise them to shoot parties (flash helps out). But for the zoom, I consider the aperture ratio acceptable. Indispensable on a journey instead of a set of fixes! Or for those who have not decided yet. Still, they are equipped with 50D, and this is already a serious technique. And if DUST did not get inside (found on the third day after purchase), there would be no limit to happiness. The only good thing is that it is not reflected in the photo.
Pros
- Stabilizer. Wide range of focal lengths. Zoom. It is possible, without leaving the place, to shoot both a portrait and a group of people in full growth. Good for catching distant objects.
Cons
- At zoom and at ISO less than 400, aperture is lost. Dust gets inside!

Took after "Kitovsky". I've been using it for almost six months now. The pictures come out great. And in the cold in the heat everything works. Recommended for travel photography.

Its pros:
a good lens, for a beginner the most BUT to decide which lens will be needed in the future! a wide range does not force you to constantly change lenses!
With its cons.
A bit heavy, but that doesn't get in the way.
