I used this wireless adapter on a Windows 10 laptop upgraded from Windows 8.1. The adapter works well, but you should be aware of a few limitations: The installation disk will not install the setup utility on a computer running Windows 10. Now I got this adapter because my Asus computer's built-in network adapter failed - it just worked inside a gauge of the radio modem! After downloading the Windows 8.1 driver for the adapter (available on their website) and disabling the faulty onboard network adapter, the TP-LINK adapter worked fine. However, you may need to do the same as me and disable the built-in network adapter, otherwise it will affect the correct operation of the TP-LINK adapter. I give this product five stars because it has extended the life of my laptop - it's not nice to have a laptop that no longer connects to Wi-Fi networks! In addition, a third-party supplier caused a delay in delivery and Revain promptly provided a replacement. For the price, you can't beat this wireless adapter. You also get free 24/7 technical support. I've ordered another computer to replace my aging Asus laptop, but for now I'm still working on my Asus. Order this product with the intricacies of installation in mind and it will serve you well.
