Needs to be installed correctly

I previously bought them on another truck and welded them on at the shop and the catalytic converters broke. But it's not magnaflow's fault. If you do this, you need to understand how they work. When you install them, you need to weld them right where they came from stock. Catalysts work at a certain temperature. And they will issue a code. This code needs to be emotionally tuned first as the O2 sensors will think the car has clogged catalytic converters or decide the fuel mixture is lean and the car is running rich to compensate for the fuel. But that extra fuel doesn't burn completely in the cylinder and dumps that rich fuel mixture up the tailpipe and ignites like an exhaust backfire and will destroy your new cat. Also, O2 sensors must be in stock. relative to the cat so that they are read correctly. This time they work fine because I did them right. I have a 400hp Silverado that I'm having trouble with and the cats hold up great and do their job exactly 5 inches past the manifold gasket.
